Bates & Mills Consulting wins at 2011 Pollie Awards

The North Carolina-based political consulting firm of Bates & Mills Consulting has won three awards in the American Association of Political Consultants annual contest that recognizes the best of the best in political communications.

Bates & Mills, which has offices in Carrboro, N.C. and in Seattle, Wash., won the awards for its work on Secretary of State Elaine Marshall’s campaign for U.S. Senate. The award winners were announced Friday at the AAPC 2011 Pollie Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.

“My partner Ross Bates and I are honored to have won these awards,” said Thomas Mills, president of Bates & Mills Consulting. “Over the past six years, we have been recognized for work on U.S. presidential campaigns, congressional campaigns, gubernatorial campaigns, state legislative campaigns and local campaigns.
